In 2012 Dorje wrote and directed his first two short films.  The first won the Jamesons Hot Shots Film Festival, and the second won the Audience Award in the Open Road Film Festival, judged by Bryan Brown and Gregor Jordan.  

He has recently completed his television commercial directorial debut for Moosehead and Chimney Group.
